Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Coordinator is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive and highly targeted sales and marketing plan for Pine Grove's treatment programs in the Pine belt area. Specifically, this position is responsible for arranging and conducting direct sales calls and providing appropriate follow-up as necessary; attending local, regional, and statewide conferences as assigned by the Director of Business Development, and following up with a specific plan of action for each conference.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Sales and Marketing Strategies: Design and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to promote Pine Grove's treatment programs in the Pine belt region.
  • Conduct Direct Sales Calls: Arrange and conduct direct sales calls with referral sources and follow up as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Represent Pine Grove at Industry Events: Attend local, regional, and statewide conferences as assigned by the Director of Business Development and represent Pine Grove in a professional manner.
  • Develop and Maintain Referral Sources: Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including area school districts, healthcare providers, and other professionals, to educate them about Pine Grove's treatment programs.
  • Document Referral Activity: Document all referral-related activity within the department's database.
  • Assist in Marketing Strategy Development: Assist in the development of the department's marketing strategy to promote Pine Grove's treatment programs.
Performance Expectations:
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with Pine Grove's staff and referral sources.
  • Professional Representation: Demonstrate the ability to professionally represent Pine Grove at industry events.
  • Boundary Guidelines: Demonstrate the ability to adhere to and understand Pine Grove's professional boundary guidelines.
  • Referral Source Development: Demonstrate the ability to maintain and cultivate referral sources to Pine Grove.
  • Task Completion: Demonstrate the ability to carry out duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development.
  • Market Development: Demonstrate the ability to cultivate new markets for Pine Grove and maintain existing markets effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with Pine Grove staff members as part of the Business Development team.
Qualifications:

Education/Skills: Bachelor's degree in marketing/public relations/counseling/therapy/related field required. A Master's degree is preferred.

Work Experience: Five years of related marketing, public relations, or healthcare experience is required; behavioral healthcare experience is preferred. Healthcare experience within the Pine belt region is preferred.
