Training and Development Specialist

Hood Industries is seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our People Operations and Culture department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
The Training and Development Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating training initiatives across the organization. This will include conducting gap analysis to determine training deficiencies and recommended pathways to improvement, creating relevant surveys and measurement systems to evaluate the effectiveness of training, and utilizing assessment tools to create coaching and development reports for high-potential employees.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with managers and employees to determine training requirements and performance gaps, coordinating with outside vendors to create unique training programs, and maintaining records of training and development activities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in training and development. SHRM certification is preferred.
