Position Overview

The Patient Engagement Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing staffing and operational workflows within their designated area. This position collaborates closely with the Patient Engagement Manager to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and that performance goals are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and adjusting staff assignments to align with workload demands and service expectations.
  • Providing training, coaching, and performance management to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Conducting regular evaluations and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Managing daily activities of the patient engagement team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Facilitating communication with patients and healthcare providers to resolve inquiries and coordinate services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support patient engagement staff to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the call center, ensuring timely and accurate pharmacy services.
  • Monitor team performance and workflow, reporting on daily activities and outcomes.
  • Work with management to optimize resource utilization and control operational costs.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of new team members.
  • Evaluate and coach staff regularly to maintain high performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification in pharmacy is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with prior leadership experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in pharmacy operations and knowledgeable about relevant regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
