About the Position

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will oversee and guide a team of engineers and staff. You will facilitate, manage, and transform activities throughout the software development lifecycle. Furthermore, you will provide direction, vision, and oversight to guarantee the successful execution and delivery of software components and related outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offering leadership, management, direction, and vision to software engineers and development personnel.
  • Collaborating closely with development peers, product and project leaders/managers, and other internal software developers.
  • Reporting progress to senior leadership and managing the departmental budget.
  • Identifying and nurturing talent, defining resource needs, and allocations.
  • Championing test-driven development and maintenance.
  • Overseeing system and user acceptance testing cycles.
  • Engaging in the development and evolution of architecture.
  • Acting as a primary technical liaison for external technology resources.

Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience in Software Development spanning over a decade.
  • Demonstrate a solid foundation in management with a proven track record of success.
  • Provide expertise in various staffing and resource models.
  • Proficient in database technology, design, and manipulation.
  • Knowledgeable in normalized/dimensional data modeling principles.
  • Experience in project planning and management tools.
  • Skilled in setting, communicating, implementing, and achieving business objectives.
  • Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying complex project challenges.
