Position Summary

As a Senior IT Support Analyst at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the experience of Owners, members, and guests. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a bridge between IT and the operational teams across various departments, including Corporate, Resort Operations, Contact Centers, and Marketing and Sales. This position requires specialized knowledge and skills in areas such as Information Technology, ensuring that team and departmental objectives are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Your contributions will include:

  • Collaborating with IT and business units to deliver daily operational support and assist with technology projects.
  • Managing and executing assigned technology initiatives while adhering to established IT processes.
  • Providing support for the installation and maintenance of computer systems, printing devices, and various technology peripherals.
  • Ensuring that all desktop solutions are functioning optimally upon installation.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with business management teams to facilitate effective communication and support.
  • Working within established service level agreements (SLAs) to guide customers on their computing needs.

Candidate Profile
Education Preferred:
Requires a BS/BA degree in a technical field or equivalent technical training and experience.

Experience Preferred:
3-4 years of experience in technical customer service support or a related field.

Physical Requirements:

Essential Functions
  • Facilitating the installation of operating systems and application software.
  • Coordinating with vendors for technology installations and maintenance.
  • Providing leadership and support for Tier-2 technical issues.
  • Managing financial aspects related to projects and departmental inquiries.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
