Job Summary

Colonial Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Clinician IV to join our team. As a Clinician IV, you will be responsible for assessing individual, family, and community needs related to child behavioral health services. This role requires a strong understanding of child and family systems, behavioral health disorders in children, and appropriate interventions for identified problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation regarding the scheduling of assessments and delivery of services to Program Specialist, Support Staff, and Supervisees.
  • Administer and interpret community-approved assessment tools in order to provide a standardized comprehensive assessment of children and families.
  • Initial and ongoing assessment of child and family needs, abilities, strengths, and preferences, and service planning.
  • Provides brief models of counseling for children, adolescents, and their parents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Ability to develop individual service plans for children in collaboration with their families and other service providers.
  • Possess knowledge of child and family systems, behavioral health disorders in children, and appropriate interventions for identified problems.
  • Must possess the ability to link children and families with needed clinical and support services.
  • Ability to maintain an objective, professional, and calm relationship with individuals and groups in a stressful situation.
  • One year of work experience with individuals with serious mental health and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Master's Degree in a human services field required.
  • Must hold a valid license from the Board of Counseling or Board of Social Work (LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP) required.
