Clinical Admissions Specialist

The Clinical Admissions Specialist will facilitate the intake process for patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition into care. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine the most appropriate level of care for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective admissions.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding healthcare and social resource systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient information.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- One or more years of experience in mental/behavioral health, preferably in a clinical or observational capacity.
- Strong interpersonal and interviewing skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
