Administrative and Events Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative and Events Specialist to join our team at The Hollister Group LLC. This temporary position will support the front office of a large department at a well-known Higher Education Institution in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the front office, serving as the face of the department to visitors, vendors, and building management.
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of undergraduate program events.
  • Provide hands-on assistance for student organizations, award administration, course feedback, and other department-related activities.
  • Manage department contact lists, office schedules, databases, and website updates.
  • Provide high-quality, professional writing for emails, meeting notes, and other written communications.
  • Offer general administrative support to department faculty and administrators as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional administrative experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in higher education and/or event planning is a plus.
