Job Title: Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant to join our team at Waterfall Community Health Center. As a key member of our Primary Care team, you will provide trauma-informed and evidence-based care to patients with social, behavioral, and emotional factors that influence physical health.

About the Role:
  • Provide short-term counseling and consultation to meet the needs of patients with complex behavioral health needs.
  • Conduct screenings, provide psychoeducation, and make brief assessments and discuss interventions.
  • Collaborate with the Psychiatric and Primary Care Providers to recognize, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues of patients.
  • Participate in team meetings and daily huddles to review the care of complex patients.
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Ability to become registered with the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional or hold an Unrestricted Oregon License.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention Comprehensive training class completed within 6 months of hire and recertify prior to the expiration date.
