Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to patients with mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement interdisciplinary rehabilitation plans to meet patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in psychiatric patient care.
  • Knowledge of cognitive behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy theories, principles, and practices.
  • Strong group skills and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write legibly, and converse effectively in the English language.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registration as an occupational therapist or Therapeutic Recreational Specialist certified by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation.
