Marketing Product Strategist

The Marketing Product Strategist will act as the main point of contact between the McLeod Software Product Development teams and the Marketing department. The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Providing the Marketing team with essential written materials, communications, and content necessary for creating engaging, clear, and concise sales literature, presentations, videos, and other promotional media for McLeod products.
- Overseeing the introduction of new products across our marketing channels and Sales team by collaborating with the Product teams through a structured, repeatable process.
- Serve as the primary liaison, technical consultant, and communication bridge to the Product Development teams for the Marketing department.
- Establish and implement a systematic New Product Introduction (NPI) process based on best practices commonly utilized by other enterprise application software organizations.
- Collaborate with Product Development teams and Operations to deliver the technical content required for sales materials (both print and digital).
- Engage in discussions with Product Development and QA teams to remain informed about ongoing product development initiatives.
- Coordinate with our design, graphics, video, and other internal resources to generate the necessary content for each product launch and promotional campaign.
- Partner with the Sales Services team to facilitate the introduction of new products to our Sales personnel.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director of Partner Programs to streamline information flow and enhance communication between external industry partners and the Product Development teams.
- Work alongside Sales Services to maintain competitive insights and continuously enhance the user experience for our Sales Team through our competitive intelligence and analysis system.
- Initiate and oversee research projects with Hanover Research or any future contract research firms to support both tactical and strategic market opportunity analyses for the company. Gather and provide customer/prospect data and target information for research purposes.
- Supervise the development of content, plan discussion topics, recruit, and mentor participants for McLeod Insights - our video podcast series.
- 7-10 years of experience in Product Marketing or a closely related field.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive messaging.
- Strong project management capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to lead and influence across various company functions and departments.
- Proven track record of building relationships with diverse teams and all organizational levels.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and analytical mindset.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
