The Marketing Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy for Hibbett Retail, Inc. This includes managing and executing strategy for the organization's internal social media ambassadors from stores, overseeing marketing content, and providing analytical support for overall performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing vision and goals.
- Manage and execute non-launch product marketing initiatives and brand building projects on the organization's marketing platforms.
- Oversee marketing content to be used across social media, including creating and scheduling content.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, and channels, and work with the marketing team to develop effective benchmarks of success.
- Monitor content performance and social media data for non-launch product using third-party tools, and make recommendations for future programs and content.
- Support ideation and execution of social media contests, including terms and conditions and contacting winners.
- Protect the systematic integrity of all social media accounts.
- Organize and run events that drive sales and generate awareness for the company and its products.
- Market and publicize events to the local community to attract a crowd.
- Drive various administrative and management tasks, such as planning a venue, communicating with stakeholders and vendors, and planning activities.
- Review the process, evaluate the effectiveness of each event, and report to leadership.
- Protect the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in a retail company.
- Knowledge of marketing trends and best practices.
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in common analytical tools, such as Microsoft Excel.
- Passion for social media content and community customer engagement.
- Passion for analytical data and ability to articulate reporting and insights.
- Ability to work independently and self-sufficiently.
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
- On-call duties: after hours and weekends.
