Core HR Transformation Specialist – Strategic HR Initiative

Contractual Engagement, 18+ months

Compensation: $75-125/hr based on experience

Position Overview:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Core HR Transformation Specialist for a long-term contractual role. This position is pivotal in steering HR strategy across various domains including Benefits, Core HR, Compensation, and Payroll, while ensuring a smooth transition to a new cloud-based HR platform. This strategic position demands a blend of planning and practical execution. Join our dynamic team to play a crucial role in a transformative program that will positively influence the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Core HR initiative, providing both strategic direction and operational support across Benefits, Core HR, Compensation, and Payroll.
  • Work closely with Process Owners to design and execute effective HR workflows and processes, incorporating IT and Change Management strategies.
  • Drive the execution of HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Serve as the main point of accountability for HR service delivery and integration.
  • Facilitate strong communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards, minimizing HR-related risks.
  • Track and report on the progress of initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Promote HR best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in HR management with a focus on Core HR functions.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in designing and implementing HR processes and systems.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR operations with business objectives.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with PeopleSoft and its integration with cloud-based solutions, particularly UKG Pro.
