Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer II to enhance our Energy, Manufacturing & Bioprocessing division. This role is pivotal in supporting diverse market sectors such as industrial food & beverage, refining, power, and advanced biofuels.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)
  • Location: Multiple office locations available.
  • Compensation: Competitive salary range based on experience and qualifications.
  • Work Schedule: In-office presence required 3-5 days per week.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will take on the role of project discipline lead, overseeing a team of 2-4 engineers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive electrical design documents and schematics.
  • Serving as the Discipline Representative as needed.
  • Reviewing and approving the work of team members.
  • Executing both conceptual and detailed designs for low voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, motor control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Engaging with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Leading project meetings and delivering presentations.
  • Conducting essential electrical calculations including voltage drop, short circuit analysis, and relay settings.
  • Creating specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment.
  • Traveling to project sites for inspections and assessments.
  • Monitoring team performance and resource allocation to adhere to project timelines.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 18 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power, energy, or industrial processes.
  • Proficiency in Electrical Facility Design is essential.
  • Experience in developing one-line drawings, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of technical codes and standards including NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and IEC.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD and REVIT is preferred.
  • Must be available to work in the office 3-5 days per week.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is required. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
