Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer II to join our Energy, Manufacturing & Bioprocessing division. This role is pivotal in supporting various market sectors, including industrial food & beverage, refining, power, and advanced biofuels.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Position Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)
  • Location: Various locations available
  • Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
  • Work Schedule: In-office presence required 3-5 days per week

The Senior Electrical Engineer will take charge as the project discipline lead, overseeing a team of 2-4 engineers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive electrical design documents and schematics.
  • Conducting thorough analyses and approving team outputs.
  • Designing low voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, and motor control systems.
  • Engaging with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Leading project meetings and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Performing essential electrical calculations, including voltage drop and short circuit analysis.
  • Creating specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment.
  • Traveling to project sites for inspections and assessments.
  • Monitoring team performance and resource allocation to meet project timelines.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 18 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in power, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in Electrical Facility Design is essential.
  • Experience in developing one-line drawings, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of technical codes and standards, including NEC and IEEE.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • PE License is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is necessary for client projects.
