The Swift Group is actively seeking a Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team in Laurel, MD.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess senior-level expertise in the manufacturing of mechanical systems integrated with electronic components.

Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, material science, or a closely related field

Required Expertise:
Candidates should have experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Vacuum systems
- Cryogenics
- Electronics packaging and interconnects
- Custom electronics assemblies

Preferred Skills:
Experience in these domains should encompass the initial market analysis and concept generation phases, extending through small-scale production and quality assurance processes. Additionally, familiarity with supply chain management and government regulations (including export control and intellectual property protection) is highly valued.

Security Clearance:
A current government security clearance, background investigation, and polygraph examination are prerequisites for this position.
