We are a leading provider of digital printing solutions for labels, packaging, document, commercial, and folding carton. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support to our customers.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Hartford, CT. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing digital printing equipment at customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers to schedule and complete service calls in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, and execute repairs at the customer site.
  • Maintain a parts inventory and ship parts back to the warehouse as needed.
  • Provide status updates to management and customers during service calls.
  • Participate in special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Degree or certification in electrical engineering or technical field is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills are required.
  • Previous field experience and familiarity with road warrior travel is helpful.
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time with little notice is required.
  • Knowledge of the printing industry is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and computer skills are required.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress.
  • Service-minded professionals who can build trusting customer relationships.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and to frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally move more than 100 lbs.
