Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified Project Manager to oversee mechanical projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and management standards. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of respect and collaboration.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, procurement activities, and financial plans to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Engage and manage subcontractors, including contract negotiations and ensuring timely execution of project tasks.
  • Scope Management: Monitor project scope and manage changes effectively, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Project Initiation and Scheduling: Oversee project kickoff, staffing, and scheduling to facilitate successful project execution.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all project documentation is accurate and compliant with warranty terms and conditions.
  • Cost Monitoring: Continuously track project costs and prepare final cost projections to maintain financial transparency.
  • Site Management: Coordinate site mobilization and demobilization processes to ensure efficient project operations.
  • Safety and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with safety and quality teams to implement project-specific safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience managing mechanical projects across various sectors, including commercial and industrial.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft 365, MS Project, and Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements related to construction projects.
