About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Sustainability Infrastructure team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Resource Management: Manage and coordinate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget and that any variances are promptly addressed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project work meets the highest quality standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, including project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education**: Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Experience**: Minimum of five (5) years of direct project management experience in the building construction industry, with a focus on HVAC, Controls/BAS, Lighting, and Renewable Energy systems.
  • Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. Proficient in project management software and financial accounting systems.
  • Travel**: Ability to travel, with varying project assignments potentially requiring travel outside of the assigned geography.
