Event Sales Director

AccorHotel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Sell all aspects of events held within the hotel, including corporate events, social functions, weddings, and other market segments.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and/or exceed departmental revenue goals.
- Meet with clients to determine their needs and exceed their expectations through detailed communication.
- Network with clients and partners to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director to create profitable and competitive event menus.
- Manage event functions, including maintaining accurate and effective written communication.
- Finalize event requirements, maximizing revenue potential through upselling and effective communication with all departments.
- Ensure accuracy of Banquet Checks and provide bill review on completion of programs or events.
- Participate in meetings with hotel teams and clients, including morning operations briefings, banquet event order meetings, sales meetings, and planning site visits.
- Competitive salary range: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 USD plus incentives.

- University/College degree in a related field (preferred).
- Outbound sales experience with a proven track record of sales performance (2-3 years of experience).
- Seasoned with an operations background.
- Strong organizational leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to lead a team, think strategically, and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Basic knowledge of audiovisual equipment, internet, telecommunication technology (helpful).
- Strong technical literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, Banquet Event Order software, and knowledge of Opera Sales and Catering software.
This is a full-time position with no remote work options.
