Event Sales Manager

At NeueHouse, we're seeking a skilled Event Sales Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing prospecting and sales for private events within their individual market segments. The Event Sales Manager will work closely with the VP of Business Development & Creative Projects to develop and maintain key business relationships with event clients, sponsors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and sell private events to clients, sponsors, and partners.
  • Develop and maintain key business relationships with clients, sponsors, and partners.
  • Prepare presentations, pitches, and proposals for private hire event clients.
  • Manage client entertaining efforts and initiatives.
  • Conduct walk-throughs and tours for event opportunities.
  • Manage private hire P&L margins and internal event budgets.
  • Prepare lead and sales reports.
  • Liaise with clients to select menus, understand needs, and coordinate event details.
  • Communicate event information to relevant parties, including chefs, event operations directors, general managers, head of security, and tech managers.

Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Able to work against deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • MS Office Suite, including PPT and Excel.
  • Efficient with Google Calendar, Docs, Gmail, and Chrome.
  • Ability to multitask and learn quickly.
  • Organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to take independent initiative and work within a team.
  • Proficient in Mac OS.
  • College degree or relative work experience required.
  • 5+ years in relative industry and/or field.
