  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of wine and spirits products, including their characteristics, features, and pairing suggestions.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products, to ensure that the department is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of Wine and Spirits Clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and providing excellent customer service.
  • Sales and Promotions: Develop and implement sales and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Store Operations: Assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure that the department is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Six months or less of related work experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong product knowledge, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:

This position is frequently exposed to equipment movement hazards and dangerous chemicals/solvents. There is continuous exposure to noise, temperature extremes, dampness, and occasional exposure to electrical shock. This is a fast-paced work environment with significant pressure.
