Job Overview

Position Summary

The Packaging Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in fostering and sustaining profitable connections with clients while actively seeking new business opportunities. This position is also responsible for achieving the company's monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, in alignment with the overall vision and mission of MORRISETTE PACKAGING INC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients, maintain relationships, and develop referral sources to meet the company's business objectives.
  • Support initiatives aimed at expanding the network of referral sources.
  • Ensure personal productivity and quality standards to achieve favorable financial outcomes, providing exceptional service to clients and promoting job security and career advancement for team members.
  • Manage both short-term and long-term leads from external sources, qualifying prospects and guiding them through the sales funnel.
  • Utilize sales management systems and tools (such as databases and scheduling software) to optimize efficiency and conduct weekly analyses of marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with the EVP of Sales to formulate an annual marketing strategy and identify relevant opportunities.
  • Present and discuss the company's products and services effectively, ensuring a clear understanding of customer needs while reflecting quality and integrity.
  • Develop a comprehensive call schedule to cover the designated territory and provide detailed reports on outcomes.
  • Address and resolve client issues promptly.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • A college degree is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of sales experience or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites are required, along with reliable transportation.
