In this role, you will oversee essential in-house maintenance operations across multiple properties, ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for all residents. Your expertise will be vital in executing various maintenance tasks, including pool and spa upkeep, fire safety system management, carpentry, and emergency repairs. You will lead a team of maintenance staff, ensuring that all tasks are performed to the highest standards, thereby preserving the integrity of our facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure optimal maintenance of indoor pools and spas, focusing on water quality and cleanliness.
  • Manage upkeep of community buildings, including painting, carpentry, and drywall repairs.
  • Conduct repairs to building structures to prevent water intrusion.
  • Perform preventative and emergency roof maintenance, including sheeting replacement.
  • Carry out gutter cleaning and minor repair tasks.
  • Oversee interior and exterior painting projects.
  • Execute street maintenance activities, such as pothole filling and concrete work.
  • Provide weekend maintenance for pool and spa facilities.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
  • Participate in an on-call emergency rotation to address urgent maintenance issues.


  • Complete additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Engage in various maintenance activities, including pressure washing and light replacements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance or construction.
  • Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Basic knowledge of waterproofing principles.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Willingness to participate in emergency on-call rotation.
  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills are essential.
