# of Openings: 1 Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (FT) - Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, where you will be instrumental in ensuring the upkeep of our residential communities. In this role, you will oversee in-house maintenance for multiple villages and the Umbrella Association, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be vital in performing various maintenance tasks including pool and spa upkeep, fire system checks, carpentry, and emergency repairs. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of our properties and community spaces.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the indoor pool and spa are maintained to the highest standards, focusing on water quality and cleanliness.
- Oversee maintenance of community buildings, including touch-up painting, carpentry, and drywall work.
- Conduct repairs to building exteriors to prevent water intrusion.
- Perform roof maintenance, including both preventative and emergency repairs.
- Manage gutter cleaning and minor repair tasks.
- Carry out interior and exterior painting as needed.
- Address street maintenance issues such as pothole filling and signage repairs.
- Handle weekend pool and spa maintenance duties.
- Provide snow and ice removal services as required.
- Participate in an Emergency On-Call rotation to assist with urgent maintenance needs.
- Execute tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor, including pressure washing and light replacements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of maintenance or construction experience.
- Familiarity with the operation of power tools such as saws, drills, and paint sprayers.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in conflict resolution and maintaining professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of waterproofing principles and their application.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Willingness to participate in Emergency On-Call rotation.
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members.
