Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing operations within the facility.
- Provide care for residents and assist in the modification of individual service plans.
- Support residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Engage with the Life Enrichment Program and motivate residents to participate in various activities.
- Document and relay any changes regarding residents, ensuring timely completion of all reports.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for all residents.
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies, providing first aid and specialized care as necessary.
- Uphold confidentiality of all resident care information in line with HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, unencumbered nursing license as an RN or LPN in the state.
- A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
- Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing methodologies.
- Familiarity with nursing practices, medical procedures, and relevant regulations governing nursing care facilities.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and documentation systems.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
