Lead Technical Program Manager, Identity Solutions
As a pivotal member of the Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our global fulfillment network. AFT is dedicated to innovating the software, hardware, and processes that facilitate timely and efficient order fulfillment for our customers worldwide.
Role Overview
In this role, you will spearhead initiatives focused on security, compliance, and access management solutions. The AFT-Identity team is committed to developing robust solutions that safeguard the millions of daily transactions between users, devices, and services. Your leadership will be crucial in addressing technical challenges related to Authentication, Authorization, User and Permissions Lifecycle Management, and Compliance for both internal and external associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the design, implementation, and deployment of software services tailored to the Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security, and Compliance needs within the AFT Fulfillment domain.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Software Development Managers, Principal Engineers, and Operations leaders, to envision and deliver solutions that enhance user experience.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets security and compliance standards across various devices and services.
- Engage with the developer community to advocate for the adoption of IAM solutions that elevate security measures while sharing best practices in performance, scalability, and engineering methodologies.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the software community.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to facilitate progress tracking and issue identification.
About the Team
The AFT team is at the forefront of creating innovative solutions that integrate software, hardware, and data science to optimize processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management with a focus on software engineering.
- Proven ability to manage programs across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
