The Lead Identity Solutions Architect is a key role within our organization, focusing on the development and implementation of advanced Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks. This position is essential for enhancing security measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Role Responsibilities:
1. **Design and Implementation:**
Lead the architectural design and deployment of IAM solutions, leveraging expertise in platforms such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID. Ensure the integration of unphishable technologies and passwordless authentication methods for enhanced security.
2. **Collaboration:**
Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to align IAM strategies with organizational security objectives. Develop a comprehensive technical roadmap that incorporates best practices and emerging technologies.
3. **Governance and Compliance:**
Establish and enforce identity governance policies to protect sensitive information while adhering to regulatory requirements.
4. **Auditing and Risk Management:**
Conduct thorough audits of existing identity management systems, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing necessary enhancements to mitigate risks.
5. **Zero Trust Security Model:**
Evaluate and implement Zero Trust principles, ensuring continuous verification of user identities and devices prior to granting access to critical resources.
6. **Documentation:**
Create detailed architecture and design documentation that outlines business requirements, support processes, and technical specifications for development teams.
7. **Vendor Management:**
Manage relationships with identity solution vendors, staying informed about product roadmaps and potential impacts on our systems.
8. **Mentorship:**
Provide guidance and technical leadership to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the IAM domain.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years focused on Security and Identity architecture.
- Proven expertise in architecting and implementing sophisticated IAM solutions using Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
- In-depth knowledge of identity management protocols such as FIDO2/WebAuthN, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and general security certifications like CISSP or CISM.
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
