Position Overview
Your role will focus on enhancing the reliability of systems and equipment within your designated area, minimizing downtime, and supporting the operations of assigned processes.
Key Relationships
Reporting to the Manager/Supervisor of Technical Support.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and environmentally responsible work practices
- Proactively enhance the performance and reliability of process equipment
- Effectively restore equipment functionality
- Lead response efforts during events
- Plan and execute corrective and preventative maintenance for assigned processes
- Monitor performance metrics and trends, providing actionable plans
- Support and implement projects aimed at improving system and equipment reliability
- Assist in training and coaching process operations staff
- Document and review maintenance and repair data accurately
- Oversee and guide the use of SAP for work order management
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned
Physical Demands
The role requires the ability to move equipment and supplies weighing up to 33 pounds, operate and inspect manufacturing equipment, and remain on your feet for extended periods. Vision correction may be necessary, and the ability to work in various environmental conditions is essential.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent military or industrial training with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required
- Familiarity with systems such as compressed air, electro-mechanical controls, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and robotics is preferred
- Experience with automated record systems like SAP and technical documentation is advantageous
- Proficiency in computer skills is preferred
- Knowledge of various troubleshooting strategies is beneficial
- Ability to support planning and execution of process functions and coordinate maintenance activities is preferred
