Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure adherence to 5S/6S principles while maintaining a clean and safe work environment;
    • Hands-on experience in managing minor facilities maintenance tasks and projects.
  2. Oversee the assignment and completion of daily preventive maintenance tasks through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  3. Possess certification for operating powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts and scissor lifts.
  4. Assist in event setups and the installation/removal of decorative elements.
  5. Conduct various maintenance and minor repair tasks in both interior and exterior areas, including but not limited to:
    • Painting
    • Carpentry
    • Masonry
    • Drywall
    • Parking lot maintenance
    • Sidewalk repairs
    • Plumbing fixes
    • Clearing drain blockages
    • Lighting maintenance
    • Flooring repairs
    • Door adjustments
    • Window repairs
    • Roof inspections
  6. Perform custodial duties as required, which may involve:
    • Sweeping and vacuuming
    • Steam cleaning
    • Disposing of trash
    • Maintaining facility floors
    • Landscaping tasks
    • Industrial cleaning around infrastructure and equipment areas.
    • Addressing general maintenance requests that require the use of small hand tools.
  7. Support the maintenance team with sourcing and purchasing of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies.
  8. Conduct routine inspections of property features (doors, sprinklers, racking) to identify safety and risk management issues, ensuring the property remains in good condition.
  9. Manage electronic lock systems and security systems, monitoring site infrastructure including building access and fire safety systems.
  10. Assist with minor electrical work, including the installation and repair of switches and light fixtures.
  11. Perform lighting maintenance throughout the facility, including exterior and interior areas.
  12. Support site contractor services and ensure safety during site projects.
  13. Assist in scheduling and overseeing contractor services and preventive maintenance tasks, including:
    • Sprinkler system checks
    • Fire safety inspections
    • Electrical maintenance
    • Dock door servicing
    • Other related equipment and service support.
  14. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, demonstrating situational awareness to identify unsafe practices.
  15. Perform additional duties and general maintenance tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  1. 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
  2. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  3. Valid Driver's License is required.
  4. Familiarity with building systems such as fire suppression and air compressors.
  5. Daily responsibilities may include plumbing, painting, rack repairs, cleaning, and general carpentry.
  6. Experience with 277/480/3 phase electrical systems and low voltage AC/DC systems is preferred.
  7. Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
