Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of the facility and its associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the facility and all equipment within.
  • Conduct diagnostic troubleshooting on machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting.
  • Keep comprehensive records of all repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in adhering to industry safety standards, OSHA regulations, and applicable state laws.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure prompt repair of equipment and systems.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in liaising with property owners and external contractors for the upkeep and repair of grounds and building systems, including HVAC, overhead doors, dock plates, and all electrical and plumbing fixtures.
  • Assist with necessary janitorial tasks as required.
  • Help monitor the inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility and equipment maintenance.
  • Proven familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
  • Understanding of industry safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Proficient in maintaining records for documenting repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple departments and external contractors.
  • Basic knowledge of janitorial tasks and inventory management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with electrical diagnostics, particularly in an industrial or manufacturing context.
