Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of the facility and its associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the upkeep of the facility and all machinery.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting on equipment within a manufacturing setting.
- Maintain comprehensive records of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in adhering to safety standards, including OSHA regulations and relevant state laws.
- Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure prompt repairs of systems and equipment.
- Support the Maintenance Manager in liaising with property owners and external contractors for maintenance and repairs of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Perform necessary cleaning and janitorial duties as required.
- Help manage the inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility and equipment maintenance.
- Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Capability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Skilled in maintaining records for repairs and maintenance activities.
- Experience in collaborating with multiple departments and external service providers.
- Basic understanding of janitorial responsibilities and inventory control.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience with electrical diagnostics in an industrial or manufacturing context is essential.
