Patient Access Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Registration Specialist to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors while ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Admitting: Ensure accurate and timely registration of patients, including collection of demographic and insurance information.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, providing guidance and support to patients and their families throughout the registration process.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure a positive and respectful experience.
- Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter patient information into our electronic health record system.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve registration-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; one year of relevant experience in a medical or customer service setting preferred.
- Experience: One year of experience in a medical or customer service setting, with a focus on registration and patient access.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
