Position Overview:

The Strategic Client Engagement Leader (SCEL) is a pivotal role within our Value Engineering team, essential to our growth strategy at Celonis. In this capacity, you will drive our vision of data-centric business transformation with our most significant clients. You will coordinate teams of Celonis specialists to ensure the success and satisfaction of our premier clientele as they embark on their value realization journey with Celonis.

The SCEL will serve as the primary accountable lead and trusted consultant, focused on delivering value to a select group of clients. This role requires collaboration with C-Level Executives to jointly establish a long-term strategy for leveraging Celonis to revolutionize their operations while mobilizing the necessary resources from Celonis. Working alongside our cross-functional teams, you will facilitate measurable business outcomes across diverse processes and sectors, accelerating the adoption of our platform. Additionally, the SCEL will advocate for transformative initiatives within Celonis and client accounts, promoting innovation and strategic change to maximize value and drive business evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Client Engagement

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, aligning Celonis with their strategic goals.
  • Ensure that engagements are adequately resourced by leveraging global cross-functional teams, including Servicing, Product, and Engineering.
  • Guide clients on organizational design and the development of Centers of Excellence to enhance platform adoption.
  • Mentor and support team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance to foster their success.

Enhancing Client Value

  • Oversee the complete customer value journey, from initial engagement to expansion, adoption, and renewal.
  • Influence key stakeholders through effective communication, product expertise, and industry knowledge.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define the Celonis program roadmap and detailed value plans.
  • Drive value realization and adoption within accounts, ensuring timely project completion, client satisfaction, and achievement of usage targets.

Community Engagement & Client Advocacy

  • Organize and facilitate customer advisory boards to tackle industry-specific challenges and innovations, creating a structured feedback loop for continuous improvement.
  • Act as the customer advocate within the organization, ensuring alignment of product development and service offerings with market needs and client feedback.
  • Promote customer participation and sponsorship at key industry events, representing Celonis at conferences and webinars.
  • Collaborate on innovation initiatives and contribute to the development of resources and tools for the value engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in customer success, strategy consulting, or a related field; an MBA is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives and process re-engineering projects.
  • Extensive background in achieving business objectives through the implementation of software solutions.
  • Ability to navigate complex global organizations and persuade stakeholders using data and insights.
  • Proficient in collaborating with internal resources to design and present opportunities with subject matter experts.
  • A consultative approach when engaging with senior executives.
  • A strong team player with an inspiring leadership style.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate Celonis use cases into the client’s business context.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, thriving in fast-paced and collaborative environments.
  • Willingness to travel to meet client needs.
