Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated Business Developer to join our team in the Tennessee Valley region. As a Business Developer, you'll be responsible for delivering program awareness, identifying opportunities, and achieving program participation to support energy savings goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote energy efficiency programs to local power companies, end-use customers, and TVA program staff.
  • Work closely with program management to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Host in-person and virtual meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss energy efficiency opportunities and solutions.
  • Conduct program demos and education training to promote energy efficiency best practices.
  • Identify and pursue energy efficiency opportunities in the commercial and industrial sectors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 6+ years of related experience in energy efficiency, commercial energy, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with electrical energy efficiency core technology areas, such as HVAC, lighting, controls, and compressed air.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle.
  • Able to travel daily within assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Resident of East Tennessee preferred.
  • Resident of Tennessee required.
