Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Hitachi Global Air Power US is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the Midwest region. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and developing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market share expansion in the Midwest region.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans, forecasts, and metrics to drive year-over-year revenue growth and margin expansion.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to ensure effective sales strategies and market share growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of compressors and the compressed air industry to ensure effective sales training and market share growth.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Business-to-Business Sales Leadership experience in the industrial equipment space with a track record of leading sales teams and consistently achieving sales objectives.
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and growing sales and sales leadership teams within a matrix organization.
  • Must have experience driving a disciplined, metrics-driven professional sales process.
  • Air compressor experience is preferred.
  • Strong background in direct sales to industrial end users REQUIRED.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Use of CRM system - Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organizations, including both internal and external customers.
  • 50-75% travel requirement, both over the road and airline travel.
