Position Summary

Overview: Responsible for delivering and serving food at designated events under the guidance of the catering captain. Ensures all events are executed accurately during the assigned shift. May involve driving a catering delivery vehicle. Responsibilities include setting up and serving at events, maintaining cleanliness during and after events, and returning leftover food and equipment promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered events to their designated locations.
  • Monitor and log food temperatures.
  • Set up tables and decorations as per event standards.
  • Arrange buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to established guidelines.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous manner.
  • Thoroughly clean the venue after the event concludes.
  • Return leftover food, beverages, and serving equipment to the catering facility.
  • Distribute and collect customer feedback forms for catered events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering facility and equipment.
  • Ensure guests receive friendly and attentive service at all times.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the menu and available products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures consistently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A valid driver's license may be required; candidates must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit as required by state law.
