The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning Solarity Credit Union as a premier business banking provider by creating extraordinary experiences for current and potential business members. This involves understanding their financial situation, anticipating their needs, and guiding them through complex financial decisions.

As a trusted advisor, you will routinely refer loan and deposit products to deepen member share of wallet using cooperative relationship principles. Your ability to maintain self-esteem and make decisions based on good judgment will be key in building strong relationships.

Candidate Requirements
  • A degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Effective communication and relationship building skills.
  • A minimum of two years of related lending experience, including problem loans and workouts.
  • Experience in loan documentation, closing policies, procedures & practices.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of loan clients.
  • Knowledge of business and income property lending.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational, project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • A high level of analytical skills.

You will have a typical day filled with various activities, including reviewing your calendar to prepare call plans for COIs, prospects, and existing members; attending morning huddles to discuss workload and plans for success; and making calls to new prospects or Center of Influences while following up with current borrowers.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to network through social media platforms and other sources to build new relationships. You will report directly to the Lending Sales Manager, who will provide guidance and support throughout your career growth.
