Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Coordinator to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a lead dispatcher, guiding and answering questions throughout the shift
  • Address customer issues and provide resolution to problems within the scope of work
  • Backfill for dispatchers as needed
  • Ensure all necessary forms are completed accurately and on time
  • Provide training for new hires and additional training for current staff
  • Monitor and advise management on functional and productivity goals
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or more years of experience in logistics and transportation, with a focus on shipping, receiving, and inventory management
  • Knowledge of warehouse and software applications, routing and dispatch software systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual a plus
