**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Specialist to join KVL Audio Visual Services in Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for various events and meetings.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Configure and deploy audio and visual equipment such as microphones, speakers, projectors, video monitors, and recording equipment.
2. Operate sound boards, video cameras, projectors, and other audio and visual equipment during events.
3. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of audio and visual systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
4. Provide technical support and assistance during events, including adjusting sound levels and lighting as needed.
5. Maintain and clean audio and visual equipment to ensure proper functionality.
6. Manage inventory of audio and visual equipment and request repairs or replacements when necessary.

**Required Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in audio visual technology is a plus.
2. Proven experience working with audio and visual equipment in a professional setting.
3. Strong knowledge of audio visual systems, equipment, and best practices.
4. Ability to solve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed.
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for event support.
