Job Summary

The Class Giving Associate is a key member of the Class Giving Team at InsideHigherEd, responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors and volunteers to support the organization's fundraising goals. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent planning and organizational abilities, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the cultivation and solicitation of Class Giving prospects and volunteers
  • Support the planning and implementation of Class Giving team events and initiatives
  • Provide analysis and reporting for Class Giving staff
  • Manage a small cohort of participation-level volunteers through the annual fundraising process
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field such as fundraising, higher education, nonprofits, sales, customer service, and volunteer management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a higher education or non-profit setting
  • Experience with database tools
  • Experience with audio/visual and presentation platforms
