About the Role

This Strategic Account Director position is responsible for driving business growth and strategy for major regional accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in consultative sales, preferably in high technology industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and expand client relationships
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with clients to become a trusted advisor
  • Manage and execute large account planning and territory management
  • Forecast and manage sales performance to meet or exceed quota
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Gartner's products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results for clients
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of external experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology industries
  • Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior level relationships within large multi-national companies
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships and offering value-added insights
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers and industry knowledge
  • Strong computer proficiency and excellent written and oral/presentation skills
