Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Survey to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our survey department, you will be responsible for leading survey projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Develop and execute project plans, ensuring that survey projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Client Management: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and to develop and implement solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of survey professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality results.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive growth and revenue.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all survey projects are delivered to the highest quality standards, and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets and finances, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and that any financial risks are mitigated.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned with project goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as surveying, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in survey project management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to deliver high-quality results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Strong business development and financial management skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and manage project budgets and finances.
