ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Survey Field Assistant I, you will work closely under the guidance of the Party Chief, assisting in all preparatory tasks for daily surveying operations and participating in various surveying activities, including field staking and data collection.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing for daily surveys by organizing necessary supplies and ensuring all equipment is operational.
  • Reviewing plans to understand the surveying tasks ahead, including site, boundary, and construction plans.
  • Conducting fundamental surveys such as leveling, traversing, and topographic surveys.
  • Utilizing and performing basic adjustments on surveying instruments, including total stations, levels, and GPS equipment.
  • Interpreting control and boundary monument records while locating these monuments in the field.
  • Maintaining an orderly storage area for equipment and supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Familiarity with standard field surveying techniques and equipment.

SKILLS:

  • Competence in mid-level mathematics.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • Analytical thinking skills.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience.
