This Event Sales Coordinator position represents The Rustic in the Houston Downtown market. We're seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist with administrative duties for events. The role averages 40 hours a week, with opportunities to grow as we enter our busiest season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Area Director of Sales and Sales Manager as needed
  • Work within our sales platforms, including Triple Seat & Resy and Qubica
  • Update and distribute BEOs to the operations team
  • Attend event meetings and share critical event information to ensure successful execution
  • Collect final headcounts for upcoming events via phone or email
  • Greet clients/guests upon arrival at events
  • Reconcile event charges after each event to ensure all revenue is collected
  • Send post-event invoices and thank-you notes to event clients
  • Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in hospitality event-specific sales or event serving
  • Achieve sales financial objectives and analyze sales activity to inform business decisions
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude, ability to work well in a team environment, and self-motivation
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain confidentiality
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to keep collected information secure
