The Resident Services and Leasing Consultant will collaborate closely with the management team to deliver exceptional service while assisting potential residents in discovering their ideal living spaces. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a leasing agent and property tour specialist, showcasing our offerings and amenities effectively.
  • Conduct property showings and highlight their features to prospective tenants.
  • Evaluate lease applications and ensure all documentation meets eligibility criteria.
  • Support daily customer service functions, including handling inquiries, preparing notices, and managing resident communications.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment through various communication channels (phone, email, text) to foster positive resident relationships.
  • Prepare move-in documentation, verify that residences are ready for occupancy, conduct unit inspections, and facilitate move-in orientations for new residents.
  • Conclude the leasing process by effectively closing sales.
  • Maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants.
  • Process maintenance requests and follow up with residents to ensure completion.
  • Learn and adhere to all Fair Housing Laws, including local, state, and federal regulations (training provided).
  • Be adaptable and willing to assist in various areas as needed.

Candidate Profile:

We encourage applications from individuals who:

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or sales.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in office administration or data entry (preferred).
  • Can obtain an Illinois Residential Leasing Agent License within one year of employment (for Illinois properties only).
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to utilize a company vehicle.
  • Are proficient in computer applications and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Appfolio, Outlook) and have a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, high energy, and a positive attitude.
