Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison and trusted advisor for the leading grower customer segment within the Commercial Seeds division.
  • Build and nurture relationships with both current and prospective growers, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while establishing your reputation as a thought leader in the grower community.
  • Guide growers in optimizing their agricultural operations by identifying the most suitable products, services, and solutions to enhance their yield and profitability.
  • Oversee the sales process for these top growers, collaborating with accounts to maximize Syngenta's contributions to their operations and financial success.
  • Formulate a commercial strategy for your designated area, along with tailored strategies for individual growers in a competitive landscape.
  • Proactively engage with growers to assess their operational status and specific needs, providing early insights through analytics to support their farming decisions.
  • Develop an engagement strategy with various partners and stakeholders, including Syngenta Seeds, external retail channels, and local dealers.
  • Continuously enhance your understanding of the grower's business strategies and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Business, Agronomy, or Agricultural Science.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Production Agriculture, including Seed sales, Agronomy, Grain Origination, Crop Protection, and Digital Agriculture.
  • A proven track record of selling, servicing, and negotiating with large-scale corn and soybean growers.
  • Strong understanding of grower Profit & Loss and daily farm operations.
