We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our team at Bickford of Champaign. As a Certified Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily needs of our residents, ensuring they receive the highest quality care and live their lives to the fullest.

Responsibilities
  • Know and Care for Residents: Develop a deep understanding of each resident's needs, preferences, and service plans to provide personalized care.
  • Assist with Daily Activities: Assist residents with activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement to promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Communicate Effectively: Appropriately communicate with clinical leadership when a resident's needs change, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Care for Residents with Dementia: Possess knowledge and skills to approach and care for residents with dementia, promoting their dignity and comfort.
Qualifications
  • CNA License: Hold an active CNA license in good standing.
  • Education: Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Training and Certifications: Willing to take additional training or education, as required by specific states, and hold CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and make sound judgments.
