1. Manufacturing Method Evaluation: Assess and enhance production techniques by leveraging expertise in products, design, materials, components, fabrication methods, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, as well as assembly techniques and quality assurance standards.

2. Workforce and Workflow Planning: Collaborate in analyzing and strategizing workforce utilization, spatial requirements, and operational flow, while designing equipment and workspace layouts to optimize efficiency.

3. Tooling Design Support: Provide assistance to operations and quality teams regarding tooling design to ensure streamlined production processes.

4. Vendor Collaboration: Engage with suppliers to ascertain product and equipment specifications.

5. Material Specification and Evaluation: Assist in defining materials or components, and assess products against specifications and quality benchmarks. Develop part masters, including all standards, within the MRP system. Establish inspection methodologies for incoming raw materials or components. Formulate Kanban processes in collaboration with purchasing and operations teams where applicable.

6. Production Time and Cost Estimation: Contribute to estimating production durations, staffing needs, and associated costs to inform management decisions.

7. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work alongside management, engineering, and other personnel regarding manufacturing capabilities, production timelines, and other factors to enhance production workflows.

8. Statistical Analysis: Utilize statistical techniques to project future manufacturing needs and potentials.
