About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Part Time Spiritual Care Counselor to join our team at Silverado. As a Spiritual Care Counselor, you will provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families, fostering a sense of comfort and well-being in times of need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional and spiritual support
  • Assess and interpret patient and family needs, both spiritually and emotionally
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop care plans
  • Document patient interactions and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field
  • Experience in spiritual care or counseling, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong emotional intelligence and empathy
